About the Role
Bethlehem Star Transportation is hiring Paratransit Drivers to provide safe, timely, and respectful transportation to individuals with special mobility needs and intellectual disabilities. This is not medical transport — we are a non-emergency, passenger-based service with a focus on comfort and dignity.
Key Responsibilities

Safely transport clients, including those who use wheelchairs or have limited mobility.

Assist passengers getting in and out of the vehicle when needed

Operate lift or ramp equipment (training provided)

Follow scheduled pick-up and drop-off times

Complete trip reports and communicate with dispatch
Requirements

Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License

Clean driving record

Must pass background check and drug screening

Ability to assist passengers with care and professionalism

Experience with wheelchair-accessible vans
